7. Determination of Statements of Principles

At the formal meetings the Authority determined a total of seventy-two Statements of Principles. Sixteen of these Statements were for new conditions, representing an additional eight particular kinds of injury or disease. There were six amendments to existing Statements of Principles. Fifty re-determined Statements of Principles revoked previously determined Statements of Principles and associated amendments (see Appendix 2).

Since its inception, the Authority has determined 1,333 Statements of Principles covering 287 particular kinds of injury or disease.
