The Authority continued its policy of regular meetings with leading
office bearers of major Ex-Service Organisations during the year. These meetings
enabled an exchange of information about current issues being dealt with by
the Authority and address matters of interest that may be raised by Ex-Service
Organisation representatives.
Due to the unavailability of Professor Donald,
Professors Raphael, Kaldor and the Registrar attended various sessions of
the national congress of the Returned and Services League of Australia in
Sydney. Professor Donald attended the annual general meeting of the Australian
Veterans and Defence Services Council in Canberra and the QLD State congress
of the Returned and Services League of Australia in Mackay. Due to the unavailability
of Professor Donald, Professor Kaldor and the Registrar represented the Authority
at the national congress of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia
in Sydney.
