The RMA continued its policy of regular meetings with leading office bearers of major ex-service organisations
during the year. These meetings enabled an exchange of information about current issues being dealt with by the
RMA and address matters of interest that may be raised by ESO representatives.
Due to the unavailability of Professor Donald, Professor Kearsley attended and addressed the national conference
of the Returned and Services League of Australia in Adelaide. Professor Kaldor and the Principal Medical Officer
attended the annual meeting of Legacy National Pensions Committee in Canberra. Professor Donald attended the annual
general meeting of The Australian Veterans And Defence Services Council in Sydney and the QLD State conference
of the Returned and Services League of Australia in Brisbane. Due to the unavailability of Professor Donald, the
Registrar, Principal Medical Officer and Deputy Register represented the RMA at the national congress of the Vietnam
Veterans Association of Australia in Brisbane.
