Please be advised that recent amendments to the Veterans' Entitlements Act concerning requests for investigations
have necessitated changes to the RMA forms used when requesting an Investigation/Review of a Statement of Principles
in relation to a particular kind of injury or disease.

- Professor Heller has resigned from the RMA to take up an overseas position as Professor of Public Health at
the University of Manchester, UK.
- The Minister has appointed Professor John Kaldor to replace Professor Heller effective from 2 August, 2000
until 1 February, 2003. Professor Kaldor is Professor of Epidemiology, Deputy Director of the National Centre in
HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research, Sydney, Australia
